Candle Safety & Care

When lighting keep away from drafts, pets, children & other objects that can obstruct the candle vessel & flame.

These are organic all natural soy wax candles which in it's nature cause a characteristic called "frosting" & or holes. This does not change how the candle burns but this is how you know a candle is made from natural soy waxes. Organic waxes then to do this more. In addition we add organic coconut oils which make a better smoother burn. When burning candles for the first time, burn so that the surface of the candle wax melts, fully to the edge of the vessel to avoid tunneling. "Tunneling" is when the wick is surrounded by a pool of wax and the edges of the candle does not melt. If this happens you can take out the crystals & or leave them in & wrap tin foil around the candle so it can create an oven effect. In most cases this will create the candle to melt to the edge of the vessel. Trim wick before relighting to 1/4" to avoid a too large of a flame for safety precautions, otherwise no trimming is necessary. Regular scissors can be used if you do not own a wick trimmer. Wick trimmers are great though to hold & depose of the unwanted trimming.

Jewelry Care

Sterling silver pieces will tarnish over time. This can be cleaned by you in 2 easy ways. Let jewelry piece sit in boiling water and then rub toothpaste with a toothbrush & buff with paper towel or cloth rinsing frequently in running water. This can be repeated several times to make it shine again like new. Boiling water is an additional step & does not have to be done but does speed up the buffing process. When cleaning tarnished gold filled jewelry pieces it is advised not to use boiling water but the straight toothpaste & running water method works best. Gold filled pieces are used in our products for an affordable option rather then solid gold material. Gold filled is a step up from gold plated thus why it's is a tad more expensive then a gold plated product & gives  a longer lasting piece.

Our stainless steel jewelry can be worn in the shower but should be taken off when swimming or using a hot tub. These pieces can be worn while sleeping but should be avoided to prevent tangling.
